A close cousin of the electric wheel chair that is fast gaining in popularity is the electric scooter. Electric scooters also known as power scooters are a great option if you have difficulty getting around due to old age, weight, disability or injury. These scooters usually come as three-wheel or four-wheel models and are quite sturdy and efficient. They can bear around 400 lbs weight and can reach up to 35 mph. Four-wheel scooters are better if you want greater stability over rougher terrains. Electric scooters can also be easily customized to suit your individual needs and preferences.
